T4T WORKSHOPS
SUBVERTED is organising two workshops for the Day of Club Culture:
DJing 101 by Fluid und 5.55555
5.55555 and Fluid will teach you the basics of mixing electronic music (both digital and vinyl). From beatmatching and mixing techniques to an overview of the equipment you'll need for a mix, we'll give you the basic tools and knowledge to start DJing. We will be at your side during the Open Decks.
Polish and pitch your demos by Linn Elisabet
In this workshop, Linn Elisabet will give a brief overview of mixing and mastering, talk about preparing files and playlists, and how to approach the labels you want to release to. The aim is to prepare you to venture out into the world with your music.
Both workshops are by and for people from the non-gender conformist spectrum. Allies are also welcome.

subverted
Subverting means putting something upside down. It means to undermine the power and authority of an established system and to direct the power back to the community from whom the power got taken away.
SUBVERTED is a trans led label, event and podcast series focusing on industrial techno infused with dark drones, noise, EBM and hypnotic elements. They curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, showcasing and promoting non-binary and trans identifying DJs and producers working in the field of dark ambient, noise and industrial techno. SUBVERTED's intention is to lead the techno scene back to its roots of (financial) accessibility, solidarity, diversity and social justice. We stand in resistance to gatekeeping, personality cults/ social media hypes and intend to put the focus back on music, community building and accessible spaces for queers.
