Combining elements of pop songwriting and sonic experimentation within the boundaries set by the four-piece band formation

The record has received praise locally and internationally, and its genre-bending soundscapes have placed Supersport! at the forefront of contemporary Icelandic
art-pop.
This has not escaped the attention of the likes of The Independent and iconic UK label
PC Music who both recently featured one of the band’s songs on monthly playlists.
Nobutaka Shomura:
Nobutaka Shomura is an electronic musician, a contemporary dancer, and a media artist based in Berlin from Japan.
The texture of his sound design has been profoundly affected by underground industrial music scene in Japan as well as European experimental dub scene. In his composition, those organic sound materials are reinterpreted in the context of experimental pop by the presence of his vocal performance.
Throughout both of his sound and physical approaches, he represents people’s "hidden identity" which is restrained by society and thus transforms its space into forms of heterotopia.
He released his track from Furanum Records in 2022, Nadryv Records in 2021, and 76666 in 2020. He also contributed to the contemporary arts scene in Berlin as a composer as well. He produced soundtracks for the performance pieces which were shown in Ifa gallery in Berlin in 2022, Auswärtiges Amt in Berlin in 2021, Innsbruck Biennial of the arts in 2020, Zilberman Gallery in Berlin in 2019, Times Art Center in Berlin, Goethe Institute in Hong Kong in 2018, and Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu in Japan in 2017.
