We're hosting a series of special Tag Der Clubkultur radio shows and workshops online and offline throughout the week, as well as an event at Hörbar K.wia on Friday.

Während der Woche gibt es DJ-Workshops, eine interaktive Turntable-Installation, einen Promoter-Workshop und unser übliches Angebot an frei buchbaren Studio-Sessions. Außerdem gibt es spezielle TDC-Radioshows von Tahl Klainman - der sich mit Psychedelika in der Clubkultur beschäftigt, Future Female Sounds, BLVSH, Raiders, dem New Yorker DJ Swisha und dem Veranstalter Hypersoft. K.wia wird am Dienstagmorgen einige Aufnahmen aus ihrem Archiv zum Besten geben, und Richard Akingbehin, Mitbegründer von Refuge Worldwide, spricht mit Peeps, dem Gründer von Groove Service, über den Stellenwert des House in den Berliner Clubs. Am Freitag gehen wir ins K.wia für einen von O.N.A. kuratierten Abend. Am Samstagabend gibt es einen Flight Mode Takeover von Resident Vio PRG & Friends, gefolgt von einer All-Star B2B Session mit Special Guests. Am Sonntag lassen wir die Woche ausklingen, indem wir einige unserer liebsten vergangenen Radiosendungen über Berliner Clubkultur teilen.

Refuge was founded as a fundraising platform working in solidarity with grassroots and non-profit organisations. In January 2021, we launched Refuge Worldwide, a new radio station broadcasting weekly from Weserstraße 166, 12045 Berlin Neukölln, to spread the music and issues we care about

Since 2015, we have worked with a centre for young women, refugee shelters, a music school for people on the margins of society, social justice groups, homeless organisations and a shelter for women and young people fleeing domestic violence, among others.

We now run weekly workshops, training programmes and courses in the areas of media, creative fields and mental health at our home in Berlin-Neukölln. Participation in these events is free and part of our outreach work. Refuge Worldwide is also involved in a number of collaborative projects with like-minded collectives, radio stations and activists around the world.
