BASIC WORKSHOP "AWARENESS IN PRACTICE" - AWARENESS WORK WITH B-AWARE
Structural discrimination and general shitty behaviour still spoils a good party for many. FLINTA* and BIPoC are particularly affected. =(
We think it's crap, we want something different. You too?
Going out, partying and dancing is part of a good life for many people. It's about having fun and living it up.
We want to create spaces in which people can feel comfortable doing so - with the certainty that they will be supported if needed.
The basic workshop "Awareness in Practice" is open to everyone who is interested in awareness work and can imagine being active with us in Berlin. No previous experience is necessary. Sounds good? Then come to our workshop and be part of b-aware at festivals, demos, (sex positive) parties and other events.
B-aware acts queerfeminist, affected-centred, sober and supports all experiences of discrimination and violence.
In the workshop we will deal with common concepts and terminology from awareness work. We will also present our discussion guide, which we will practise using case studies, and talk about cooperation with other actors in event structures, but also about possible hurdles, challenges and personal limits.
The workshop will be held in German.
Participation only with negative coronal test.

b-aware Kollektiv
Everyone wants safer spaces - we create them! In clubs we can come together - indulge in intoxication, loudness and ecstasy. But where people meet, structural forms of violence and power are reproduced. Boundaries are crossed and exclusions occur. The b-aware collective has made it its mission to support those affected. We care for a safer nightlife!
