With this interactive crime show we want to subvert the way sex workers are used as objects of violence and morbid fascination in literature and pop culture. Written, directed and performed by our very own. Come to our fictional strip club and become a detective to solve the mystery of who murdered the shady manager. Enjoy pole and striptease performances and theatrical characters that you can interact with to gather clues. With this show, we invite you to enter a version of our world where our creativity takes centre stage and we blur the lines between reality and fiction with an immersive experience. Imagine a sexy Cluedo, a cool Sherlock Holmes or a slutty Agatha Christie. The Berlin Strippers Collective is a self-organised, autonomous and feminist collective of strippers based in Berlin.

The sex industry is all about pleasure and as strippers our work is to provide a service that gives visual pleasure to others. With the collective, we want to reverse the focus on our own pleasure in our work and perform it freely in front of others. Audiences are challenged to see the body, nudity, sexuality and movement without shame or stigma and as art in itself. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, labour and activism and use our stage to develop more self-determined and artistic formats while politicising them by opening up discussions and advocating for the decriminalisation of the sex industry.

We founded this collective in November 2019 to create a platform where we can organise our own events independently of managers, explore the creative side of work, build community and support, and open up discussion about sex work.
