Creamcake in association with TAG DER CLUBKULTUR presents an artist-led workshop by LYZZA and Kianí del Valle at OHM for intermediate levels.


Curated by and for women, BIPoC, and queers, seeking to grant opportunities to those who want to engage further in electronic music and movement improvisation, as well as speed up their level of confidence behind the decks.

With a communal, welcoming and conversational space, this informal workshop will help participants to overcome the intimidating hurdles that emerging DJs and club performers can face in learning to own the room, while adding an individual and personal touch to one’s set.

Intermediate: some level of DJing and CDJ 2000 knowledge required

Kianí del Valle x LYZZA

Brazilian-born producer and vocalist LYZZA has always been keen on mocking boundaries—she’s been carving a space for herself in nightlife since the age of 16. After breaking through in 2017 with the experimental club bangers on her debut EP, ‘Power Play,’ the artist has proven her vocal and lyrical prowess with the following pop-leaning EPs ‘Imposter’ and ‘Defiance,’ which addressed personal issues of heartbreak and longing with a fearless bite. Whether she’s traversing the smoky world of club music or spooling out an intimate pop ballad, one thing’s for sure: LYZZA is a force to be reckoned with.

Kianí del Valle (b. San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Berlin-based dancer, choreographer, director & performance curator with global professional experience. Driven by anthropological, biological and sociological concepts, Kianí's work merges the lines of contemporary dance & performance art within film, photography, architecture, pop culture, technology and sound. Her embodied practice is guided by the interdependence of the act of physical exhaustion, intuitive groove, movement meditation, ritualistic practices, migrational journeys, and paranormal experiences.

Creamcake is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary platform at the intersection of electronic music, contemporary art and digital technologies. Detached from normative structures, Creamcake moves in fluid processes of thought and action and engages with contemporary social issues in various projects.
