A series of events that focuses on breaking down the forms and labels of music enjoyment. It creates space for a diversity of sounds, for people looking for gentle forms of togetherness, for audio romantics and lovers of experimental music who find it hard to find their place in energetic club environments, and for artists who need a space to explore beyond the dancefloor moments we all know and love.

TAG DER CLUBKULTUR 2022 at kwia is a platform that allows queer and BIPoC artist:ing to celebrate and be celebrated for their roots and spaces. It invites the audience to experience the origins of their cultural practices and the progressive genres of the future.

NM DJ Poet, singer, designer and co-editor of TABLOID Press, is a resident at kwia and mixes ambient music and spoken word.

kwia is an ambient-focused listening bar and space for modern rituals. A place to experience and experiment with soft musical forms for Berlin's queer and BIPoC community. The focus is on sound and deep listening, with a high-fidelity sound system in an acoustically optimised ambience. With its cosy spaces for up to 80 people, kwia offers a safe(r) space and fosters intimacy and intentional familial connections between artists:inside and audience.
