As one of the first trans women in the German Ballroom, Ria Mermaid / Saint Laurent would like to honour the trans* identities from the scene of those we have lost, as well as the trans* identities who are still active and contributing to the Ballroom community. This event is primarily to recognise, value and respect trans identities who are pioneers, trailblazers and leaders in the Ballroom. The ball is a remembrance but also a celebration of those who have paved the way for future generations to carry on their legacy.
